Novo Nordisk^® Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (Novo Nordisk) is the organiser of the Cardiometabolic Summit. MedKom Group are managing the registration process on behalf of Novo Nordisk^®. You will be asked to provide details to assist us in planning the event. Your details will be confirmed back to you in an initial and final confirmation email which you will receive from MedKom Group.

In order to make the appropriate arrangements for your attendance at the event, we are required to share certain personal details with:
(a) Novo Nordisk
(b) our event suppliers for these arrangements to be made and confirmed; and
(c) suppliers of services to us (e.g. service providers) where necessary for us to process your personal information and make the relevant arrangements.
(d) third parties associated with the event, by way of sponsorship or exhibitor agreement directly with Novo Nordisk

Only personal details required for certain suppliers will be passed along in a secure method.

All personal information collected and shared (on an as need basis) will be in accordance with the Novo Nordisk^® Privacy Policy found here.

You understand that your personal information will be collected by Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (Novo Nordisk) for the purpose of (i) organising your participation in this event; and (ii) to provide you with information about Novo Nordisk, its products and services including future events sponsored or hosted by Novo Nordisk. How Novo Nordisk collects, uses and protects your personal information, is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and set out in our Privacy Policy available at www.novonordisk.com.au/privacy-policy.html.
 
Your personal information may be stored, maintained and processed on computers or webbased database systems at Novo Nordisk which may be accessed by and shared with Novo Nordisk Affiliates, third parties working with Novo Nordisk and/or regulatory authorities or as required by law, located within Australia and overseas. Novo Nordisk^® is required to disclose all transfers of value paid to you as part of its Transparency Reporting Requirements. In order to meet its reporting obligations, Novo Nordisk^® will collect certain personal information from you, which will be published on a central reporting system via the Disclosure Australia (www.disclosureaustralia.com) website. 

Information published pursuant to Transparency Reporting Requirements will be publicly available for three years from the date of publication of the information, and it will include the following personal information:

(a) your name and profession;
(b) your business or practice address;
(c) a description of any Services you provided to Novo Nordisk^® (if applicable);
(d) the date/s on which any Services were provided (if applicable);
(e) the amount of any financial payment you received from Novo Nordisk^® for any Services, including any Service Fees or expenses (if applicable);
(f) the value of any travel or accommodation costs paid by Novo Nordisk^® (if applicable);

Novo Nordisk^® will provide you with a reasonable opportunity to review and verify the details of any transfer of value or reportable payment which Novo Nordisk® determines (in its absolute discretion) must be disclosed as part of the Transparency Reporting Requirements.

Novo Nordisk^® will only provide financial support for travel, accommodation and other expenses in direct association with the Cardiometabolic Summit. Novo Nordisk^® will only provide that support to you, and not to any person travelling with you. Novo Nordisk^® will not provide or subsidise any entertainment to you or any person travelling with you. 

Novo Nordisk^® does not arrange or provide financial support for any incidental expenses such as insurance (including travel and professional indemnity), taxes, superannuation and visas.

A summary of your registration will be emailed to you shortly.

Final confirmation details will be sent to you via email the week of the 7 October 2024.
