REGISTRATION 

• Cardiometabolic Summit Local Attendee
  For those attendees whose home location is within 2-hours' drive (one way) from Hyatt Regency, Sydney. Registration includes Cardiometabolic Summit sessions and parking. 
  
  
• Cardiometabolic Summit Regional Attendee
  For those attendees whose home location is over 2-hours' drive (one way) from Hyatt Regency, Sydney. Registration includes Cardiometabolic Summit sessions, accommodation for Saturday evening and parking (if required). 
  
  
• Cardiometabolic Summit Interstate Attendee
  For those attendees travelling from interstate locations (outside of NSW). Registration includes Cardiometabolic Summit sessions, flights, airport transfers in Sydney and one/two nights' accommodation, depending on departure city and flight availability (if required).

ACCOMMODATION FOR ATTENDEES (if required)

Accommodation for delegates travelling from the Australian Capital Territory, Far North Queensland (Sunshine Coast), Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania (Hobart), Victoria and regional New South Wales will be sponsored by Novo Nordisk^® at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Sydney for the evening of Saturday, 19 October only. Due to flight scheduling, accommodation for delegates travelling from Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania (Launceston) and Far North Queensland (Rockhampton) will be sponsored by Novo Nordisk^® at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Sydney for the evening of Friday, 18 October 2024 and Saturday, 19 October 2024 only. 

Please note accommodation will not be provided to any delegates residing within a 2 hour radius from the meeting venue and cannot be arranged for or supported outside of the above dates. 

Accommodation sponsorship will be provided in accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct. For further information please contact the CMS Organising Secretariat at admin@medkom.com.au for full details.

FLIGHTS AND GROUND TRANSFERS (if required)

Return economy flights sponsorship to Sydney may only be provided in accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct to those travelling from interstate to the meeting. 

Sydney ground transfer sponsorship may only be provided in accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct to those travelling from interstate to the meeting on group flights only. 

Should you choose to fly outside of the group flights, we kindly ask you arrange and personally pay for your transfers. 

Please note, flight times will be aligned with the commencement and the conclusion of the meeting only. 

IMPORTANT: sponsored delegates flights will be ticketed within 5 business days from the date of registration.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Please note that you are responsible for your own travel and liability insurance. Novo Nordisk^® will not be responsible or liable to you in any way for any loss or damage suffered by you in relation to attending the Summit.

PARKING

Parking will be sponsored by Novo Nordisk on the day of the meeting for all Sydney local and regional delegates driving to the Summit. Further details (instructions) regarding parking will be provided closer to the meeting date.

PARTNER/FAMILY ATTENDANCE

In accordance with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, Novo Nordisk^® can only extend hospitality to invited healthcare professionals attending the medical education meeting as delegates. Novo Nordisk^® will not arrange, fund, or subsidise travel and/or meal costs and expensed incurred by a partner/spouse, guest or family member travelling with the delegate.
