The BioNTech Innovation Centre in Melbourne provides tailored mentoring and advisory services, supporting researchers and biotech startups in advancing their discoveries from laboratory to clinic. The Innovation Centre is complemented by a state-of-the-art research laboratory and clinical manufacturing facility at La Trobe University, designed to produce investigational mRNA medicines for clinical trials and support local R&D efforts. In addition, BioNTech intends to progress the development of investigational cancer treatments with a goal to treat up to 4,000 cancer patients in Australia and New Zealand over the next decade, either in clinical trials or as authorized treatments.
